  • Vivid Vision Clinical PLLC was founded with a clear purpose: to provide structured, ethical, and trauma informed clinical care that helps individuals move from confusion to clarity. Established by Katherine Lucas, LCSW, CCTP-II, Vivid Vision was built on the belief that meaningful change begins with insight.
  • Too often, individuals seek support during pivotal moments medical decisions, immigration processes, relationship transitions, or personal crises without access to thorough, clinically grounded guidance. Vivid Vision Clinical was created to bridge that gap, offering comprehensive evaluations and individualized therapy with intentional, strategic, and culturally humble care.

Meet Our Founder

  • Katherine Lucas is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional Level II, and Founder of Vivid Vision Clinical, specializing in comprehensive clinical evaluations, diagnostic clarity, and professional consultation. Her work is grounded in a commitment to precision, integrity, and culturally responsive care, with a focus on helping individuals, systems, and professionals gain deeper insight into complex mental health presentations.
  • She earned her undergraduate degree from Liberty University and her Master of Social Work from the University of Georgia, where she developed a strong foundation in clinical practice, systems thinking, and evidence-based assessment. She also holds a Certification in Non-Profit Leadership & Management, which informs her approach to program development, leadership, and sustainable community impact.
  • As a Hispanic clinician and advocate for social justice, Katherine is deeply committed to addressing disparities in mental health access, representation, and diagnostic accuracy. Her work extends beyond individual evaluations into advocacy, education, and policy awareness ensuring that mental health services are both equitable and effective.
  • Professionally, she brings experience across multiple levels of care and clinical settings, with specialized expertise in structured clinical interviews, DSM-5-informed diagnostic evaluations, and high-stakes assessments, including immigration, forensic, and pre-surgical evaluations. She is particularly passionate about diagnostic intensives, where depth, nuance, and clinical accuracy are essential.
  • In addition to her clinical work, Katherine is dedicated to teaching, mentorship, and clinical supervision. She supports emerging clinicians in developing strong diagnostic skills, ethical practice, and confidence in their clinical voice, with a belief that high-quality supervision and consultation are essential to strengthening the field.
